Considerations and results of a proposal for the arrangement and description of archival documents at the National Museum of Fine Arts

Abstract

The aspects explored in the investigative work of the research carried out in the Postgraduate Program in Document and Archives Management were presented. This work was built to propose a better way of preparing the arrangement and description of archival documents of the National Museum of Fine Arts. Aresearch that presented an analysis of the documentary panorama of the collection throughout the institutional historical trajectory, with deepening of aspects of impact on the formation of the current collection. In addition to the study, a consequent parallel is drawn with the current situation of the national scenario of transformation of collections, within the process of migration of languages from analog to digital.
