archival practices and audiovisual memory in Latin America
Keywords:
Audiovisual archival practices, Archive-body, Audiovisual memory, Audiovisual preservationAbstract
Drawing on a heterogeneous set of initiatives — including Indigenous cinema projects, community archives, regional film archives, and film festivals — this article examines the distinctive features of these audiovisual archival practices in order to investigate the conceptual, epistemological, and material shifts they introduce in relation to audiovisual memory records.
