Abstract

This article is the result of a master's thesis that analyzes the measures adopted to guarantee the digital preservation of the Judiciary's digital archival documents. The methodology used is classified as qualitative; in terms of objectives, it is characterized as descriptive and exploratory research; and with regard to technical procedures, it is defined as bibliographic and documentary. The results highlight the use of RDC-Arq as an effective solution for the courts' digital preservation program. It is concluded that the development of tools for implementing RDC-Arq depends on collaborative efforts.
